Pain around my belly button.

Hi every one,

l need some help /advice. I have pain around my belly button to be specific above the belly button, this pain comes especially when iam in my periods and it really pains me that if l try to touch or press there l feel like there is a lap which tends to move when l press there,l just wanted to know if any of you has ever experienced it and what causes it. Thank you very much.

I'd suggest you go and get it checked out, by your GP or your consultant if you are under one. Any unusual or cyclical symptoms. It's possible to get umbilical Endo, which I had and Iv seen others have mentioned on this forum. It may be nothing but definitely get it seen to and if you see a normal GP stress about your existing Endo and that the pains are cyclical. My belly button would bleed mid cycle at ovulation and during my period, as well as very sharp pains actually all the time throughout the month. Iv since had my belly button and umbilical completely removed during a larger operation. They had previously done s simple day procedure to take a sample of tissue from inside the belly button to confirm it was riddled with Endo. Fairly rare in terms of numbers but certainly possible.
