Hysterectomy

Good morning ladies .

I need an advice please .

I am 5 weeks post total hysterectomy and have been having pain on a left side of my lower abdominal. Pain is manageable but worries me that it could be some infection inside as it feels sore and " raw " .. could it just be that I'm still healing ? Could it be expected?

Thank you 😊

The best thing to do is see your GP and get it checked out.

Thank you ;) I had it checked by gp and they took some swaps just to check for infections and uti. It all looks good but still tender ;)

It could still be healing at 5 weeks as very Early days. You may have just over done it a bit or lifted something a bit too heavy. Agree about checking it out with GP.
