Hi guys!! I have stage 4 endo and I was just wondering if anyone else finds it very painful to pee on period? If so do you have any advice or tips for it to go as my belly is really hurting because of this and I can't sleep or hardly move.

Hi,

Sorry to hear your suffering with this. I experienced pain with urinating too and it was always worse around my period. This is actually one of the things that has really improved for me since my laproscopy so I'm guessing they lasered off whatever spot was causing the pain. I know I had endo on both ovaries and my uterovesical fold. Most of my doctors denied my urinary problems as part of endo but it drastically improved after the lap so in my mind there's no question it's part of the disease. Perhaps you should see your doctor and ask to be seen in a bsge centre or by a urologist? I hope you can get some help and relief soon x

Hiya.

Pain on my right side when going from a sit to a stand was the first thing that made me make an appointment with my doctor. And when I finally got to have my first scan it showed VERY large chocolate cysts on both ovaries and lots of endo!!

The pain got worse and was all the time by the time I had the operation to remove endometriosis. By this time the my bladder was joined to my ovary which was causing the pain when I moved.

Have you got a date for surgery? If not I would go back to either your doctor or phone your hospital consultant if you have already been referred.

Sammi.x :)

It's sooooo annoying it took years for them to take me seriously and I need a serious endo and bowel specialist because the ones I have already seen don't seem that confident so that scares me

Hey lovely, I found it really hard to wee on my peroid too, the pain was excruciating, particularly towards the end of a wee. It felt like my bladder was being stretched! I knew it was bladder endo, which was new for me as I'd been previously treated surgically for recto vaginal endo. During my second lap they find the bladder endo and lasered it off and it's made a huge difference. My consultant is an endo and urgynaecologidt specialist. Make sure whoever is going to surgically work on your bladder know what they are doing. I think my bladder endo might be making a come back as I experience the pain every now and then but not like before.

The only way to get rid of the pain is thought surgery by in the meantime, my tips for you would be never let your bladder get to full, this is when the pain would be a lot worse for me. Go to the toliet when you need to go and don't drink a lot before bed as I would find it would be worse first thing in the morning. X
