Hi all had my first lap done on the 25th April 17. By a general gynacologist as gp said I need to be diagnosed before she will refer me to bsge centre. In my report it said they used diathermy to remove endometriosis from pod and womb and 2cm chocolate cyst on left ovary and a 1cm cyst on right. I have been reading trying to figure out what stage this is does anybody know? Im feeling abit fed up as I don't think they should have treated it tho I'm not sure. I have been put on the microgynon 30 pill. Thanks for reading
First lap.: Hi all had my first lap done on... - Endometriosis UK
First lap.
I had my lap on 19th and had the same diathermy to remove endo on my ovary but no idea what stage it'd be. I'd say i was mild through my research of Dr google 🙈 I'm really not sure how the severity is diagnosed. Through amount found, depth, place etc..
I don't even have a follow up and told notes from Jan are only now being typed so guess by Aug I'll know 😡
How are you recovering from it? Lol yeh I've been googling I think my was mild too. Really you should have a follow up shouldn't you? Where did you have yours done?
I've got so much more movement again now. Still sore in places but I'm able to move a lot easier now. I had so much peppermint tea too. How are you recovering?
Yeah i thought I'd have a follow up. I understand if nothing was found but I'm unclear what it means for me now, after 4 failed ivfs and why I was talked out of having the laporascopy before going through ivf.
Been ttc for 5 years now. Just going back to basics atm but it's driving me nuts! Had it done and Norfolk and Norwich. They're great for my diabetes ( I'm type 1) but the gynaecologist department just seems very poor. xx
Ah glad to hear it. Yeh walking more now but today I've ended up with terrible hip pain not sure if it's from the lap or the microgynon 30 tablets they started me on. Hmmm can't you ring them and ask for a follow up so you know where you stand. Oh no I'm sorry to hear that, I hope it works out for you soon xx
