Recommendations for physio Therapists

Hello!

I have a really good physio who has helped me a lot, however he doesn’t specialise in Endo. Can anyone recommend a Physio who specialises in Endo? To help with pelvic floor, pain during Sex ect. Preferably in East Midlands. I have never been referred to Physio, pain management or anything like that but feel it is necessary for me now. Please private message me x

Can I ask how, if you know? How is it possible to self refer on the NHS?

You would really need to contact them and ask and then ask your GP to refer. Are you with a specialist endo centre?

I see No because there isn’t one in my area x

Everyone in the UK has access to a centre but you do have to fulfil the referral criteria.

Oh! How would I get access to one, I think I would fit the criteria, I’m under a consultant.

Hi I see physio attached to the bgse centre as they referred me. It’s all nhs but waiting times are long.

We ask that people don't recommend specific health professionals, however you may find it helpful to have a look at the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy website csp.org.uk/. There is a search function on their home page where you can look for chartered physios in your area. It is possible to search for physios with experience in Women’s health.
