Been suffering this all day, ibuprofen has done nothing. Don't know if it's linked to my other undiagnosed symptoms. What can i do to ease it? Starting to drive me a bit mad š

Uncomfortable numb tingling weak feeling in wrists and fingers - endo symptom?
Hi Fuzzy Frog, unfortunately I don't know what to do to help but I am so glad that somebody also has these tingles. I get them running up and down my wrists and forearms and in my groin just before I am about to have a endo pain attack. With me I only have the pain about twice a year but it makes me bedridden for a couple of days and the tingling aways signals the start of it. I find it really strange that it is in our wrists, I hope that someone has a remedy to ease the pain for you.
I also get pins and needles feelings in my hands and arms a lot, it is worst in the evening
I've no idea what brought this on. My symptoms only started abruptly about 6wks ago, starting with severe abdominal and bearing down pains (if it interests you, click on my profile to see my original posts about my symptoms and how it started), evolving into dead/numb/tingling discomfort/pain in my legs and bum, sometimes running under my feet, thighs and knees. That is usually daily and the pains i started with yesterday in my wrists/thumbs was similar feeling - it's what i would guess carpel tunnel to feel like.
Last night i massaged my wrists and hands with moisturiser and sat for a while with a heat pack resting on them, the heat eased the pain while it was on them (the same as i find for my legs in hot bath). Today my left wrist isn't so bad, right is slightly better but still uncomfortable. I think it's all coming from my wrist joint tbh. Leg/bum pains are worse today. Due AF any day soon also.
No idea what's linked and not so all of it goes in my daily symptoms diary which hopefully the gynae will pay attention to at my first consultation scheduled this week š
That deffinatly sounds like fibromyalgia, there's a support group for it on the site.
It could be nerve related.
With chronic pain over time the pain gates to our body stay open as to closed and make it easier to perceive pain, this can lead to tingling since we can feel the pain travel if it's before a flare.
However in wrists and fingers it could be anemia, which a simple blood test can rule out, ask for your ferritin to be checked. And check for b12 anemia and folate too.
Ask to see a neurologist too, fibromyalgia can cause that or migraines, both have links to endo.
Odd thing with migraines now you mention them - i had the contraceptive implant for years, during which time i suffered with regular, sometimes debilitating, migraines. Mentioned this to GPs who always stood by it not being a side effect. Since having it removed 2-3yrs ago and not needing any other contraceptive since, my migraines have decreased, it's been months since my last, used to get a couple a week.
I've got gynae this week, hopefully won't be cancelled again. All of this is written down in my diary so I'll present it all and see what they say, perhaps they'll refer me elsewhere. Who knows!
My GP has arranged more blood tests as isn't sure that this is linked to my other symptoms. Mentioned something about checking salts.
I have endo & fibromyalgia and I was constantly dismissed by GPs until the gynaecologist said he thought I had an autoimmune problem, ask to be referred to a Rheumatologist
Have you had any outcome from this? Were you dismissed from gynae?
It's been the gynaecologist that thought all my symptoms were not Gynae based and he wrote to my GP saying so and as a direct result of this, I have been now diagnosed with Fibromyalgia by Rheumatologist and on medication for fibromyalgia issues, Im also having investigations by Gastro Consultant and he also found disc prolapse from my MRI scan so I'm also seeing a Neuropathology Consultant. I wrote a full list of all my symptoms when I saw the Gynae regardless of how unrelated I thought it was.
