Anyone have any luck with any essential oils, supplements, diets or anything else to help aliviate the pain. I'm desperate. Tylonal and ibuprofen are not helping. Heat pack helps temporarily.

Eliminate estrogen foods, you might want to play around, some people are bothered by the hormones in dairy or meat, others like me by soy. If you eat high estrogen foods you can also eat an estrogen eliminating food with it such as broccoli or mushroom.

Chug water, less water wrecks havoc on your immune system and everything.

There's numerous good essential oils first off:

Hormonal Balance: Rose geranium, geranuim, clary safe, evening primrose

Apply to the hormonal spot on your leg, or soak your feet in them with Epsom salts for 30 min, high enough to cover the hormonal spot.

Pain relief: Lavender, rosemary, lemon, frankincense

For pain relief make a balm with castor oil and then apply it to your stomach with a roller, and then put a towel, plastic bag and lastly a hot water bottle or heating pad ontop.

You can also bathe in the essential oils with a carrier oil and Epsom salts.

Try cloth pads, I haven't personally experienced it myself since I am not getting periods but I feel less irritation from my allergy to them. You can make them yourself.

Yoga, try very easy at first then slowly add more poses and take more time, hold each stretch for 30 seconds to a minute.

Singing, singing releases endorphins into the blood stream (natural pain relief) and relaxes your pelvic floor which can cause you to have worsening pain. Not to mention oxygen is what heals the body and singing increases intake. Make sure you breathe from your diaphragm and awkward sitting pose from yoga will help you to not strain. A good song for breathe is "On My Own" from Les Mis. I recommend singing for 10 to 20 min a day.

I was taking a turmeric supplements for a short while but then I read that it can cause uterine bleeding so I stopped taking it because I've been having a lot of bleeding with Mirena. While I was taking it I noticed less pain, and stopping it hasn't improved the bleeding. But I think it's one to use with caution due to the potential to stimulate the uterus xx

I didn't put tumeric down.

Hi,

I’ve found the endo diet and supplements very helpful. For me the most helpful one was pycnogenol (French Maritime Pine Bark) - it made a massive difference to the pain. I take 100mg per day.
