Hi all. Sat here panicking because 2 weeks after I had my laparoscopy to remove my endometriosis I have started to get pain again. Is this normal or not my consultant said that all the endometriosis has gone and everything else was working normally. Sorry if it seems like I'm being ott I'm just scared

Did you see an endo specialist? Was the endo excised (cut away).

I have to say, I was in pain for five weeks after my excision. I really worried that it hadn't worked. X

I had it lasered away. It was just a normal gynaecology consultant

It may mean that a thorough removal job hasn't been done unfortunately. Normal gynaecologists don't use excision, which is when they cut the endo away. Lasering literally just takes the top off but the endo is still there. If you're in the U.K. then you need to see a bsge.org.uk endo specialist.
