I'm due to have a diagnostic laposcopy on Tuesday. I'm so nervous as my bmi is 31 so classed as obese I'm worried sick there's going to be complications because of my weight :( I keep thinking that I'm not going to come round after the op! I have managed to lose some weight on my own accord the doctor didn't advise me to which I'm surprised at.

Hey if it helps I was classed as obese when I had mine. In fact think I was a 31 or 32 too. Just keep up the good work and eat plenty of good stuff in the run up. Lots of fruit and veg and things with good nutrients. And keep it up afterwards to help the recovery. I was fine afterwards no problems and thankfully recovered well after. Tried to get active as soon as I could afterwards. I Wish you all the best of luck.

No problem. It's a very scary thing to go through. I was really worried about my weight too and hadn't managed to lose much. Hopefully one less thing to worry about! Good luck!

Hope everything goes okay tomorrow! Just think strong, stay positive and remember to look after yourself. Listen to your body afterwards and know your limits - over doing it well deplay your recovery :) all the best x

They hopefully wont do the proceadire if your weight is a risk. It is quite a quick minor proceadire. There is a lot of crap flying about shaming overweight people in order to save money by delaying operations on the N H s. I've had about four and also hysterectomy seriously it's nothing easy don't worry good luck x.
