Hello everyone, so I - much like I'm sure all of you are - are scared silly about the coronavirus that is currently dominating the news.
As much as I'd like to share a positive quote about getting through this, I cannot pretend that this hasn't turned me into an anxious-ass hoe.
Im trying to tell myself that it isn't as bad as they're making out, lots of it is scaremongering and that more people have recovered from it than have died (this is a true fact BTW).
I've recently had a laparoscopy (2 weeks ago tomorrow) and trying my hardest not to stress myself as it is meant to impact recovery, but its not that easy with pre-exsisting mental and physical health issues - including asthma (I know, lucky me right?)
Anyway, rant over. I hope everyone reading this is okay 💕

There is a lot of hype in the news. I’m sure you’re being sensible, flu and colds are still going around as well, it’s that time of year. There isn’t enough testing to be sure of separating one from the other.
Like you’ve mentioned more people than not are fine. Try not to worry too much, are you recovering ok from the op?
Yes, they do like catastrophize things on the news... Would it kill them to report something positive for once? 🙄 Yes I've still got some pain, but it's to be expected I think, after all it's only been two weeks. Thank you for asking ☺️
Please don’t be frightened of the coronavirus . All you can do is self isolate . Try and keep life as normal as possible . I had a dance class via zoom , which was a laugh. I went to church online and I a meeting friends for a drink via zoom . It can be psychologically overwhelming. I was like that last week because I’m a nurse and have to be out and about but if you have to self isolate you can watch loads of Netflix . I also went out for a little jog very early today. If you’re in pain though it’s difficult but you could do some gentle stretches
