Waiting time for laposcopy.

Hi ladies, just after a estimate of waiting time for a laposcopy, how long did you wait???? once being referred, I've got my gyne appointment today and hope to be put on list, will the gyne advise me of times?

I can not wait to get today over with, just hope this one listens to me, I no there is something wrong with me, you can't possibly have pain most days for nothing,

There is no standard waiting time for a lap. At your appt ask your gynae what his waiting time is as it varies between dr & hospital. Good luck.

I had my appointment on the 24th October and had my lap on the 13th of November, but as said before, there is no standard time! I hope you get your appointment soon

Hi

I had my gynae appointment after a scan didn't show anything in June 2014. I asked for the head of gynae to do the surgery as he is one of the best so I knew my wait may be longer. I asked to be put on cancellation list and got my op on August 22nd 2014. Had my follow up nov 18th to discuss 2nd lap as I have severe endo and now I'm still waiting.

All depends on the situation, the hospital and whether you want a specific surgeon
