Heartburn type pains?

Hi all,

I had a laparoscopic cystectomy on Friday to remove an endometrioma on my left ovary. I dont have a lot of pain in my stomach area, more achey but my chest feels like I have heartburn. I assume it's still the gas, as I do occasionally have shoulder tip pain. I'm trying to get out each day for a walk, which is when I notice it most, but was just wondering how long this discomfort should last?

Thanks in advance.

Hi, I had my 3rd Lap 9th Nov. I had never had heartburn type pain before, so was a bit worried to have it this time but like you say walked about a bit, drank peppermint tea and I'd say it was gone within a week. So hopefully just hang in there and it will go soon. Hope you have a speedy recovery.

Thank you, that's reassuring to hear!! I thought it would've eased up by now but I have to remember it's only been 3 days since surgery. Not used to having to take it easy!
