14 day period never had before

Just wanting to see how rare or common this is really personally I've never been longer than 7 and I'm getting bright blood sorry if tmi but usually mine gets very dark near black for last few days I'm more concerned as I had Loop excision of my cervix a couple of months ago kinda praying it's only my endo playing me up xxx

Have you had your hormones tested? Heavy bleeding and long periods tend to be a sign of estrogen dominance. Where there's either too much estrogen to too little progesterone to balance the hormones out.

I did think it could be hormone imbalance but dr didn't advise testing as I've had full set recently and didn't show anything too irregular but it might be worth asking for if this doesn't improve only problem is I hate taking any hormones they just don't seem to agree with my body and the side affects out weigh the good xxx

I agree, you could try evening primrose or raspberry leaf tea, those helped my cycle migraines.

Now that I'm all the pill all the time I get headaches for no reason.

I am in exactly the same boat (well on day 12 at the moment) with bright red bleeding and no sign of it stopping. I really hope you get it sorted, don't know about you but I am getting tireder by the day

Same here surprised daily now that it's still here if I find any cause or solution I will update my post hoping things improve for u xx

well I have spoken to my gp who has prescribed me something to stop the bleeding (can't remember it's name it began with n though) and have got to have bloods done to check for anaemia plus internal exam for other related issues once I stop bleeding (don't fancy it before, bit messy!) Gonna request to be referred to an endo clinic too for a long term solution other than more a coil (had to have mine out in Feb due to complications)

really hope you get sorted too, it sucks being a woman at times!
