Endometriosis is killing me .

I am 35 years old now. I am with lower belly pain since last seven years. Only i and God knows how much sever pain it is with which i am going throug. I hv consulted 9 drs of gaene till date todate . Others dr are in seperate list ( gastro , stomac etc ) recently one dr told me that i am with endrometriosis problem, i feel sever pain in lower belly after periods and before one week of periods. Pain get so sharp that i start vomiting . In start dr thought i am with stomch issue but all test came out fine that there is no stomach issue. One dr said i am with TB . Which turned out again false. Dr thought i will be fine if i get married as they told its ovulation pain aur routine periods pain. But till date today i could not get married though i tried alot . I live in asian side where a girl can not seek a guy opnly for her or you can say in my family it is like that . So family strugled but could not get success. Anyhow till date today i am with endo pain. My normal life has been destroy . I remain unfocused nd short tempered with irritating behavour. Dr put me on birth control pills which. Some how controlled my ovulation pain but before periods is still there with its extreme intensity. One Dr put me on danocrine she was the first who doubted that i am with endo. Danocrine/danazol are the medicines which have givn me such ugly look with freckles over my all face as these were hormonal therapy pills. I was with no pain till the time i was with danazol. But no positive newd from endo as it was still there nd with same size. I stoped taking danazol as i love my face too as i love my belly. I bisited an other dr she was caring nd loving , she put me on ocp again which again controlled my ovulation pain but not bfr periods. I have been hospitalised in 7 years right after every two months . Recently a private clinic dr which is not as famous as those which i visited diagnosed me endrometriosis . I ran to my dr. Dhe had a very detail ultra sound nd said yes its there. She again suggested me to stop periods as i am unmariired and think to get married she did not suggest me operation as other dr did as i hv no words how much intensitybof pain i have . Its not just ovulation and before periods story i hot severe cram on daily basis. My normal life is not normal. I yell , i cry. I prefer to die rather than having this pain. I do job and doing my MS too. Rverything is being suffered by this pain. Am 35 now . Here in pakistan 35 means a girl is over. For freckles m with skin specialist too. I sm between devil nd deep see. If i stop periods will have more freckles nd weight gain . Who will do marriage with such ugly girl? If i go for operation which three dr has not suggested coz it will effect my fertility. So m taking pain on daily basis nd waiting for a day whn i be dead . Whn there will be no pain . Coz to save fertility i must not ho for operation but if i stop periods my physical condition will be more worst. No pain killer suits me. No pain i jections works. My arms has been injured coz have had so much injections. Nothing works. Nothing is good in my life. But manytimes i think why Dr took such time to diagnosed it? May be if it get diagnosed early my family could hv struggled to seek a man for me with more effectively . Now m 35 . Noones to get married though i want and for it hv to safe my fertility nd not thinking about operation. But with pain how can someone live? Dpecially its damn severe as u deliever a baby right after two hours and 15 times in day . Sharing my story to motivate other patients and doing cathorisis as well. If any one can help me plz do let me know .

So sorry you are going through so much.

Firstly sorry but there is no guarantee of fertility even if you don't have an operation, and your chances of conceiving with so much pain are reduced, even if you did get married. So I would suggest GET THE OPERATION. As you said, you might not even get married so you could be putting yourself through all this pain for nothing. And even if you do get married and your egg reserve is affected there are ways around that ( tho I know Islam officially does not allow egg, sperm or embryo donation, I also know many do it. Who is to know? )

Try and find some others who are in a similar situation. It is always good to feel you are not alone.

I cannot comment on the situation with marriage etc as I am not from your culture. We do things very differently.

Thanks mierran . Thanks for wishing luck love and pain relief future. I seriouslly need it . U hv no idea about my life . I seriouslly want to get married the cultural values we have here in pakistan somehow does not work in every situation. I seriously dnt understand why we put religion in everything . First we are human and we should deal things according to us . But its not only me everyone should take step for it. Moreover , about marriage am seriouslly not sure i will be or not ! But can anyone tell me does endo grow with passage of time ? As i hv not stoped my periods . So will it grow after a year ? I would appriciate if any one can answer my this question .

And yes it feels good you are not alone with certain condition but how to deal with them for sure is different from others so you remain alone .

Yes endometrisis is a progressive disease and there is no way to stop it, unless ovulation stops or pregnancy occurs. If you wish to preserve fertility, you can consider eggs retrieval and storage for future use. Meanwhile, there are contraceptives which prevents the deterioration of endometrisis, I personally tried Yasmin and had no issues with it. However, there are now newer contraceptives which are targeted towards endometrisis sufferers. My sister had great success with those.

My issue is that pain which is due to endo. If i do not have pain i will not care about endo. But because its due to endo so i discussed it . Plz save my life from this pain as in words ican not explain its intensity.
