Hey there, I had an hysterecomy about 9 years ago and still have my ovaries. In the last 2 weeks I've been having the feeling of a sweat. Lasting for a minute or so, also at night. I thought it was maybe to do with the hot weather we were having but it's continued over this past 4 days and the temperature has dropped. Can this is the premi menopause? Anyone got experience?

Hot flushes at 45, (hysterecomy, but ovaries left) help?
I would say so yes, 45 isn't to young to go through it, but after a hysterectomy you are more luckily to go into the menopause within 5 or so years, so your o series have do e pretty well on there own,
Good luck
I'm 42 and had a hysterectomy 3 years ago, I went to the docs with the same symptoms as you. He did a blood test which showed I had started menopause. I was hoping my ovaries would last longer than that but obviously not! I started on oestrogen gel and so far felt much better. x
I had a hysterectomy a couple of years ago, keeping my slightly damaged ovaries. Apparently I'm not yet peri-menopausal but about 6 months ago I started getting night sweats. I take a sage herbal remedy by A Vogel called Menosan Tincture (you can get tablets as well) and not a single night sweat since. x
Ok, great. I've the doctors next week to check and then I can get further advice in a health food store. I'll make a note of what you are using. I also use maca powder, so I want to check what I can take in addition to that. Thank you
Hi, I just bought a herbal remedy for night sweats. I live in the Netherlands and they didn't have exactly the same as you take. I have a question, do you take it at night before bed?
