Hi, I have been diagnosed with severe endo and the consultant said my bowel is stuck because of it. Has anyone had the same diagnosed? and if so what happened afterwards. Thanks

First thing is not to panic its quite common with endometriosis for it to attach its self to the bowl or bladder if you have problems using your bowl it could be your consultant might try to rid the problem but while your still have it going on it may be pointless hope this helps ease your worries and helps you too know others are suffering too x

HI elliem,

Thanks for your post. I have now discover how common it is; however as I read other posts I became a bit worried as people started to talk about major ops etc. So reading yours made me breath and not panic. I am very blessed as I am not having any troubles with my bowels. So I'll wait for my next app as they are sending me to a different hospital with an specialized unit. Thanks again

Hi I haven't had any treatment as it's manageable at the moment,I just get painful bowel movements especially when on my period,I can have a rectal colonoscopy (something like that lol) to have it unstuck but I am trying to get pregnant so do not want any more surgeries at the moment and they try not to routinely do them due to complications and risk of ending up with a stoma etc xx

Yes mine is too and its stage 4? Have you had an mri scan? To see how deep its gone into the bowel and womb?

Im now waiting to have it unstuck. Ive waited since 18th dec 2015 as they need 2 surgeons in.

Xx
