Hysteroscopy test for unusually heavy bleeding and uterine fibroids. Very severe.

Hi Keonadunn, fibroids usually grow on the outside of the womb and can be seen by a scan. a hysteroscope will look inside at the lining of your womb and anything abnormal in there like polyps.. what have you tried already for your pain and heavy bleeds?

Just midol, ibuprofen and different pain killer every month. I pass very large clots and usually have to use 2 superplus abs tampons at once with an overnight pad. And sometimes it will bleed thru within 2 hrs.

My cycle is 7-8 days long and very heavy. I had an ultrasound done and wasntold i had fibroids on my uterine wall andbthat my tubes were blocked by scar tissue.

How old are you hun? I used to be like this when I was in my teens and twenties, my body felt like it wanted to expel a full period in hours! Have you had a family yet? is Your family now complete? lots of things you can do before going for surgery really that is a last resort

I am 38 no kids and im in usa. I had ultrasound to see if i was fertile. I am fertile but tubes are blocked and doctor stated that i have numerous fibroids on wall. Not interested anymore in kids for it probably is to late for me.
