Can anyone recommend a book or diet website? I am struggling with chronic pain. Had a hysterectomy last year. Getting worse everyday and really struggling. Taking herbs now and having acupuncture but nothing is helping. Any ideas of food or a detox I could try? Thanks so much.

Google Whole30 and have a look for the book 'It Starts with Food'. Made a huge difference to me.
Thanks so much.
Have bought the bundle - the Starts with Food and the Whole30. Did you really notice a big difference? And was it tough to do? Thanks so much!
It was difficult to start. But it says something in the whole 30 book about being diagnosed with cancer is tough... whole 30 is not tough!! Keep it in perspective, it's only 30 days (or 42 of you do the proper reintroduction). I found that gluten, dairy and sugar all affect me. During the 42 days I had two periods. One was five days early and quite heavy, but relatively painless and I had no pain at all in the second! Unheard of! The it starts with food book is a good read as it explains how food effects hormones etc. I now follow the basic principles; lots of veg, a good portion of protein and a fat with every meal (80 % of the time). It's also good for helping you to stop snacking and improves energy levels. Are you on Facebook? There's a good group called Whole 30 First Timers. Soooo helpful! Good luck... do lots of reading and lots of prep! Message me if you have any questions!! X
Thank you that is fantastic info. Will head to Facebook now and join. Will read the books when they arrive and then get on it. As you say - only 30 days!!!!
Have a look on their website in the meantime, it guides you through the principles!
I'm on it! Thank you!! XXX
Did it! Am D31 now - absolutely loved it. Thank you so so so much for the recommendation. I start Round 2 tomorrow - no reintro for me, the pain has reduced so much I would be crazy to stop! I joined the Facebook group too. All down to you, so thank you xxxxx
