Endo diet

Hi all,

I just wanted to write a post offering my experience post lap. I had a lap a month ago and prior to my lap I was really struggling with daily bloating (I constantly felt uncomfortable and looked pregnant) and also had daily stomach aches. I had pinned my hopes on these particular symptoms subsiding after my lap but they. didn't! I found it really disappointing initially until one day I made the decision to start the Endo diet. Wow! What a difference it has made, I feel like a different person! Don't get me wrong I still have the Endo pain but it has been such a relief to significantly reduce the stomach aches and bloating and for the first time in months I feel like I am in control of my condition.

I know everyone is different but if you are struggling with similar symptoms I would really recommend giving the Endo diet a go. I know you have to cut out quite a few foods but trust me, it is totally worth it! X

Hi,

I have recently been diagnosed with endometriosis and fibroids. I too feel bloated constantly. Where do I find out about the endo diet?

I just googled it and looked on Pinterest, I'm hoping my consultant will give me more detailed information on it when I see him next month.

It's just about eating anti-inflammatory foods and avoiding inflammatory foods. X

Thanks MrsK1,

I googled it and found a lot of information. There are so many conflicting opinions, but in general, it seems that avoiding coffee, sugar, alcohol and soy (although this is controversial) and red meat can help. These are inflammatory foods. Dairy may contribute to endo issues.
