Hi everyone.can anyone help or advise I have a hysteroscopy tomorrow and I know I have a retro flexed womb by mri diagnosis,3 TV scans showed I had a antverted womb so who would be more right lol? I had a very difficult smear test 18 months ago where the nurse couldn't find my cervix for 55 mins !! I was put in all positions !! She finally found it after nearly an hour ! Do you think the hump will be more experienced than a nurse at Drs surgery in finding my cervix as I'm now dreading tomorrow cos of the thought of the last smear I had !!! Can anyone reassure me please xxx

hysteroscopy tomorrow with retro flexed womb advice please.
Hi, I don't know about your womb and how that will work but I had one of these done around 4 weeks ago. It was painless and took around 10 mins. It's like having a smear but actually not as bad. The nurse can never find my cervix either but the gyne consultant found it no bother at all.
I got mine done where he used a little bit of local anaesthetic gel. It was completely fine. I don't think you have anything to worry about for the procedure itself.
Good luck!

Thankyou so much do you have a tilted womb too like me? Xx
I don't know but I do know that I have not bern able to give birth naturally, both ended in emergency c sections. But then again, I found out today that my womb (God rest it's soul) was plastered to the wall of something so was immobile. Perhaps it wasn't tilted, perhaps it was but it was definately not where it should have been. X
Thanks 😊the transvaginal scans said I had a antverted uterus but the mri said I had a retro flexed uterus Lindle what imaging would be more clearer ?
I meant gyno
