Hospital scan

Afternoon ladies, I have endometriosis previously behind my bowl. Today I have had a scan and my right ovary is stuck to my ligament. Does anyone have a similar experience? What did the hosp do? How did you manage your pain? Any advice greatly appreciated. X

Hi,

I had my first lap 3 months ago.

Mine was on the left ligament,pouch of douglas,bladder and bowel.

Never had any spotting,no idea i had it really.

I found the hot water bottle works a treat,it relaxes that ligament area,as i had trouble with it after surgery.

It loves heat it really helps.

Dont overstretch that ligament and try exercising it more than walking.

Im still going to physio and they said dont aggravate it and thats post op,so for yourself,dont push it.

Thank you. For the bowl it was burnt off and from the scan she could not see any issues there but said I have it in my womb lining and the ovary stuck to the ligament. The scan was so so so painful and I'm still paying for it now and it was this morning. Really pee'd off it's spread! I just thought I may have a cyst! I'm just being treated by my gynae who diagnosed me with it about 15yrs ago. Heather x
