I have just had a second Lap which also included ovarian drilling. My consultant is positive that we will now be able to become pregnant.
We have booked a holiday for the first week of Oct and now I'm concerned that if we do not become pregnant within the next month or so we could be under 12 weeks. I know this is usually something to avoid in a normal pregnancy but with my endometriosis we're not sure what to do. Im not pregnant as yet and i know i am getting ahead of myself but any advice would be appreciated? X

When I was pregnant I had to get a letter of my midwife to say that I had been examined and that I was fit to fly but if u do become pregnant I went to Poland when I was 28 weeks but midwife wasn't keen to let me fly after then but I was ok midwifes don't usually let u fly if u are over 29 weeks but most airlines have different rules but always best to check with airlines but wish u all the best and goodluck xx
Thank you for your reply. We will just have to wait and see. I know it's not as risky the further along I am so hopefully it'll fall in to place! Thank you x
Hi, I know it can be so frustrating when ttc and conducting your normal life at the same time! I flew in early preg - actually found out I was preg whilst away. Had an early mc - however a lot of other factors involved too and had another early mc at a later stage where no risks and it still happened, so god knows if flying had anything to do with it. What I would do if you're feeling anxious is wait for the period before you go away - if it comes then take a month off ttc for your hol so you can relax, if it doesn't and you're preg then maybe postpone the hol?
I'm totally overly cautious though, won't even dye my hair in preg lol ask your doc for advice in your personal circumstances xx
Thank you. I'm so sorry to hear of your m/cs. I hope you had success after that. I think that is what we will do just wait and see its hard but difficult to plan around something like this. Postponing or selling to someone else might be another option if needed! Thanks for your advice xx
I flew at 6 weeks pregnant and morning sickness decided to luck in that day. The airline were lovely when I kept asking for ginger ale and explained it was morning sickness. Our holiday was already booked and when we googled it I couldn't see any risks to the baby in flying plus I was under the early pregnancy unit and they were ok with it. I think it's more how you feel and in your first trimester that can be pretty horrible so if you do end up flighting in that first stage just take it easy and plan a rest day when you get there to catch up. Good luck, hope all works out for you x
Oh thank you that's also reassuring to know. Glad you were taken care of. It seems everyone is different so will be difficult to pre plan! Thanks again for sharing your experience x
