Bowel pain

Hi

I am on zoladex injection and wondered if anyone has experienced bowel pain,I was originally diagnosed with ibs but it's now thought to be adenomyosis I still don't know if I have ibs as well as my symptoms started with constipation and I have always had tummy problems.

I had scarring from endometriosis on my bowel which has now been cut off. I was in a lot of pain over my left ovary and the area surrounding but now I'm in less pain as a lot of the pain was to do with scarring a bit of endometriosis. I do have ibs as well and for years controlled that through diet.

Yes its the left side for me too very difficult to know if it's ibs or endo it's a case of wait and see what the doctor decides now as I was always told it was ibs and there was nothing they could do but I didn't except that I had to put up with this level of pain.

Hi Hun has the constipation got worse with the Zoladex?

If you have adenomyosis it can affect the bowel so can cause all sorts of problems including pain.

The pain is worst with having the zoladex but constipation is pretty normal for me so I have laxido daily.

Hi, I have the same condition abs pain on my left hand side. I have so much trouble with my bowels. I find that a mix of gluten free, aloe juice and fruit and fibre cubes helps me control the discomfort of constipation. My pain is much worse around ovulation! Womb pain is much reduced when Bowels are opening regularly. Hope that makes some sense X

Thanks I am seeing a dietitian next week to hopefully help with the constipation so far changes in diet haven't helped,before I had my coil fitted I had terrible pain from my bowels that would start 10 days before my period but once I started it would calm down.You are right about keeping things moving I have had lots of trouble before taking the laxido daily but I don't want to keep taking it long term.
