Tips for trying to concieve
I took vitabiotics trying to concieve. And have sex every other day. Don't get caught up in ovulation charts and make it stressful. I know it's hard x
Hi there, I'm currently in a similar situation of trying to conceive whilst suffering with endo, however I haven't been trying as long as you yet. I'm taking Pregnacare before conception vitamins as they are meant to give your body all it needs to be able to conceive, trying to have a healthy diet with lots of fruit and having sex every other day. I'm also tracking my cycles with the app 'Clue' which I update everyday about my pain levels, mood and how often we have unprotected sex. It also tells you when you're fertility window is and your ovulation day. I wish you all the luck in the world, I understand that it is stressful and depressing just know you're not alone and I'm happy to talk with you again if you need to X
I am in a similar situation, although my endo pain has been so bad the past couple of months we haven't been able to try. I had my first lap 9 days ago to remove it so I just waiting to recover before we can start trying again. Feeling really down today as my period was due yesterday and hasn't really arrived yet, I really worried that my whole cycle is just messed up. I have also been using an ovulation app and ovulation test kits to see when I am most fertile.
I had a lap 5 weeks ago and now anxiously awaiting (or not!) my second period since the lap, we started trying again in April.
It is very hard not to stress about it, so my tips would be to try not to get too caught up in tracking everything, but just track what you feel comfortable with. I use the app Glow to track my cycle, I sometimes use ovulation predictor kits, but they can make it stressful. Every other day is a good idea!
I've been taking the Seven Seas 'Trying to Conceive' tablets, which seem to have all I need, and trying to eat well and reduce caffeine and alcohol. Don't give it all up though, that can be miserable!
Not keeping pregnancy tests in the house is also key, when I had a big pack of the cheap ones I was testing so much and it was so stressful. I will only go and buy one when I am late now.
Good luck! xx
Thanks for the tips everyone good luck?
