Left alone after lap & coil two years ago...

Hi ladies,

I was just wondering if anyone has had a similar experience...

I started my periods at 9, and have suffered since about the age of 13 with excruciating pain, fainting, nausea, vomiting and heavy bleeding as we all know. I wasn't diagnosed with endo until I was 25, and started to have total numbness in my legs. I had my lap and they removed endo that was blocking my entire vagina and put the mirena in.

That was two years ago, and whilst the mirena has taken my period away, I'm still in a lot of pain and have severe bladder and bowel issues. My specialist discharged me from him and said he'd got it all, but I just feel totally alone. My GP fobs me off with 'you've got the coil, you're fine'

I've also noticed a huge increase in my appetite and weight gain plus excessive hair on my body which I didn't expect with mirena being non hormonal? Has anyone else has a similar experience?

if u are still having problems please go back and dont take no for an answer. i still had problems after a clear lap and within months an mri confirmed it was there. ive just been diagnosed with stage 4. it is hard work but you have to do the leg work yourself.

Hi so sorry to hear you are in so much pain.ive only been diagnosed with deep endo and have it on bladder and bowel ,I see you have too,can I ask where it affected your bladder as mri has picked a nodule up in my bladder and I'm very worried xx
