What HRT are you on? Had 2 Prostrap injections and after  the side effects on my weight especially during the first 12 weeks I was given Livial Tibolone. I googled like a mad woman ... Took it up to the day of my surgery.

Those 3 months made all the difference. It was given as a temporary measure to combat the menopausal side effects. I was just thankful for the bleeding to stop.

Thank you ... It's like no one understands hot flushes 👀 dripping forehead 💭waking up soaking wet and cold loool windows open all day and night 🔥 naked 🔥had to find a cotton kaftan lool I am a sweating mess right now and that's without the HRT ... I too have sage leaf capsules from H&B 💭 until I go back for my postoperative check I was going to start them in the meantime 💭

I hope you're doing okay though 👀  The struggle ✊

Awww thank you always nice to share and read peiples views and wellbeings... they say starflower is good also for the hot sweats also. Nothing more nicer then a fan on full speed late at night lol. So where are you up to with your dignoises hun. I have until sept with these injections and hoping to have a robotic keyhole hysterectomy I seem to be coping with the endo which I was.dignoised with stage four but the fragile bones and achey body is taken its toll in work x

Hey Hope you're feeling good today! I am learning more about what I was experiencing before surgery. I didn't even know I had endometriosis until I read my discharge notes. I had ridiculous heavy irregular bleeding and fibroids while suffering miscarriages in early pregnancies (from 2013 and 2015). The Prostrap to stop the bleeding and the HRT to curb the menopausal effects.  In which time I did moan cry moan flood cry moan shout complain about my size and how I felt my bones were aching and a once perfect wrist for example, was now a click away from pain😣💭 just to name a few.

It all made sense final and now almost 6weeks after Hystorectomy by laparoscopy (4 keyholes) and a week into this forum I am learning why the slow tortoise won the race.

I am sorry to hear about your troubles 🙏  stay strong and thanks for being here ✊

The doctor took me put of work from April 2014 went back to work in February 2015 and was put back on sick leave from June of last year and haven't been able since. It was a blow to our lifestyle and finances. The emotional impact was improved when the surgeon assured me of a better quality of life 👌 no blood no pain no womb 👀 apart from the hormones he wasn't wrong ... I look forward to working full time 😂 again 😂

I'm having my fourth Prostap injection today and taking Tibolone daily.... I must admit the injections have helped a great deal but I do still suffer from pain, stabbing pains and cramping in my pelvis area. So I use morphine tablets for the intense pain and buscopan for the cramping. I'm scheduled to have my hysterectomy in June but no exact date has been confirmed. I'm hoping it will definately be done in June as I'm getting married in November so I want to be totally healed and back to normality before we go away. We fly to Miami on the 8th November, we then have a beach wedding on the 10th and then on the 12th we go on a 14 night Caribbean Honeymoon Cruise.... so we're very excited. The only problem I have had with the Prostap and Tibolone is the weight gain. After I had the laporoscopy surgery in December last year I totally lost my appetite and actually lost weight.... Since taking the new meds I've only put back on what I had lost. Also I can no longer drink wine cos it tastes like vinegar..... infact i can't even drink anything as I feel very tipsy even after the first drink and I wake up the next morning with what I can only describe as an awful hangover. Good luck with everything hun and take care xx

Hi Hun I had Zoladex for six months without hrt. I think but don't quote me on it , but I think you can have for six months without the hrt but any longer than that then you need the hrt to protect heart and bones.

That's odd I was told it had to be tummy or bum. I choose tummy as years ago when I was having depo provera ones done in the bum it would hit a nerve and would tickle like crazy. Lol

I'm doing ok . Bowels are so much better but still having trouble with bladder. But I think that may be due to the lack of oestrogen, at least I hope so any.

Should be starting hrt next month so I'll find out if that helps.

How long are you on the Zoladex for?

If you stay on prostap for more than 6months it will start to affect your bone density. So to prevent this they put you on to hrt to help balance hormones and keep you safe! Once on hrt in theory you can stay on prostap for as long as you want to.
