I'm not sure if anybody may have experienced something similar, I had a section almost 2 years ago now. It healed fine and has caused me no issues. The past week it had become increasingly tender and the little pouch of fat/skin above it (that I just cannot get rid of!) seems tense or bulgey if that makes sense. Now today it is quite painful and I can feel a lump underneath. I am going to make an appointment to see my GP tomorrow but I just wondered if anybody had experienced anything like this from a section or other scar tissue?
Thanks

I've had 2 c-sections, can't get rid of that fat pouch either! After my first, my scar was raised, hard and painful all the time (couldn't wear jeans or anything tight or I'd be crying). It was fixed after my second. I just had surgery 2 weeks ago where they found my tubes stuck to the abdominal walls and said it probably happened because of the c-sections and endo. How big is the lump? Have you had a lap for endo since the c-section?
Hi I had a c section nearly 9 years ago. 2 years ago I had a lap for endometrioma removal and they reopened the c section scar for removal of cyst & ovary. The skin there is different to the other side. Over time I realised it was swelling in this area with each period. I can also feel a nodule below the scar. My GP feels I have scar endometriosis. I have the progesterone only pill which seems to keep it under control. I don't know if this is the sort of thing you are experiencing.
