Severe bleeding

Hi ladies.

Had my mirena coil removed Wednesday and I have been severly bleeding since. I don't know whether it's a period (cos their irregular) or if it's from having the coil removed. Anyone had this ?

I have had the same. Removed wed and now bleeding. I was going to let it go a normal length of time for a period and then if it doesn't stop go back to my doctor.

I have started taking the pill the same day so unsure of what effects are.

Hi Hun I had mine taken out in Jan few days after I had the biggest period ever, this lasted a few days then I had normal cycle, I am like clockwork anyway. Xx

Hello, I just posted a similar query, had mine out Thurs, bled straight away but today (4 days following) I am pouring fresh blood, some clots also. Quite scary how fast it came on & pain to match. I dont know how log to leave it to ask GP for advice.
