As on my last post I stated my scan was clear my consultant has recommended for.me to have a biopsy laraoscopy and a hysteroscopy any advice I have already had key hole surgery will they cut threw scar tissue or make new a cuts ????xxxx

Hi, I had a lap in March then had a hysterectomy in July, they used the same scars to go back in, xx

Did they realise you needed a hysterectomy after the hysteroscopy sorry if this is a bit personal my mum had a hysterectomy from cervical cancer I'm just a bit worried by it xxxxxx

No, I had a lap for diagnostic purposes due to endo symtoms, I was diagnosed with endo and Adenomyosis so had a hysterectomy for the Adenomyosis x

If it's the same surgeon they will go in by the same incisions - this is due to their height, length of arms etc - they go for the ideal position for them to do the best job.

If it's a different surgeon will prob be slightly different, wouldn't worry about it x

My consultant didn't use the same places, I thought they would. So I have new scars just below my old ones. (Plus the belly button cut, my poor belly button works like it's been through the wars)

I think it may just depend on each consultant.
