Mirena & Depo Provera ???

Following my laparoscopy and diagnosis of endometriosis at the end of July it has been suggested that I have the Depo provera injection on top of the mirena coil I already have. This is to try and reduce / stop the irregular bleeding. Whilst the coil has reduced the heaviness it hasn't stopped the fact I can bleed every couple of days.

Has anyone used this combination? What were the results?
