Hi ladies, I had my injection to stop my ovaries 2 week ago now! I haven't had any symptoms yet. But my pain in my stomach hasn't gone and I'm still bleeding is this normal? Starting to feel really down about it now! Constantly taking pain killers which aren't working 😐

Hey, I also had a period after my first injection but I haven't had one since. I was on them for 5 months, il be honest they are not pleasant but u can get other medication to support it. I found after the 2nd one the systoms did start to ease. Iv not had an injection for 9 weeks now & I'm struggling as I'm still waiting on my period !! Can't wait just to get back to normal x

I had an epic 2 1/2 week period which freaked me out, however now I've had the second one, no period (wohoo) but hot flushes and tiredness - good times!! :/

Hi amy jane. I've had 5 injections now (decapetyl) alongside tablets (tibalone) to stop side effects.it took first month to settle n still had period 1st month.but can honestly say I have some life back. No period for last 4 months, very limited pain or other side effects.so happy & wish I could stay like this but alas only a reprieve before excision surgery for severe endo next year.best of luck hope you feel better soon x

I to had a prostap Injection last week am menopausal so had it to stop ovaries, had a lot of pain their and hot flushes, not helped though the adenomyosis pressure but have my hysterectomy on mon 28th so nearly there, people say though it takes a while to settle symptoms hope you feel better soon.
