Hey, ive read lots on here and I've noticed that the pain we talk about isn't described. I just wondered what people's pain was like? Mine is excruciating and exactly one week before my cycle. It makes me feel swollen from front to back (literally) and it travels across my pelvic area. When it's at it's peak I can only describe the pain as a tearing pain and it feels like I have weights attached to "that" area of my body that are ripping down - if that makes any sense?
I don't get any back pain but occasional pain in my thighs. I also get very bloated and uncomfortable followed by a break out of spots once I eventually come on!!
Is anyone's similar? X

It feels different on different days and points in my cycle. Some days it feels like a have a ball of pain spinning, turning, pulsing, expanding deep down in my pelvis. Some times it feels like every part of my pelvis is a sore open wound and sandpaper laced with vinegar is rubbing on areas. Other days it feels like Satan has his hand wrapped around the bottom of my spine and he trying to pull me to hell.
Or some times it feels like the cast of game of thrones is trying to stab there was through my uterus, bowel andbladder ... quite intense lol x
Oh wow. The only thing with my pain is that the intensity is the same and it comes suddenly. There's no warning or niggle that allows me to get ahead with pain relief. It's never different either 😔 X
I have continuous pain in my left side, at first before they thought it could be endo the doctors thought it was a kidney infection.
Then before my cycle, my ovaries feel like they are going to explode, followed by pain in my pelvis, when my cycle does happen it feels like I can only describe it as a chainsaw in a place God didn't intend it to be, and it can be heavy, spotting or light as anything.
If a doctor were to turn round to me tomorrow and say would you like a hysterectomy I would accept without hesitation.
I am currently on co codamel for pain relief which doesn't help and awaiting an appointment for my first lap. Being a woman is not fun! xx
I totally agree that being a woman is not fun!! It's so frustrating that I got through my teenage years and only now am I'm suffering. It's really not fair. The pain is so unbearable at times I think I'll opt for a hysterectomy but then I don't want to ruin my chances of trying to fall pregnant. I have a referral appointment in aug at a different hospital as the lap I had, hasn't improved anything for me.
My pain is like someone is trying to push my hips together, combined with electric shocks in my pelvis and thighs. Continuous pulling pains in my groin when I use the bathroom too. Usually around 2 weeks before my period it will last for a week and then even worse during my period because then I have stomach cramps/back ache too. What a lovely condition this is!
