Hi, I used to take ibuprofen and paracetamol together but it got so bad I'm now on cocodamol though it does give me constipation it helps tonnes with the pain. Also hot water bottle but it's too hot to use in the summer.

I have just been put on gabapentin because my GP didn't want me on codeine long term.
It has only been a week and I am not noticing any difference but I have to gradually up my dose until it works.
Maybe something to suggest to your GP.
have you been given anything for the constipation? you could try a laxative. or if its too much then ask for alternative meds. Sure there is something you could take that will help with no constipation
