Marina coil

Can anyone advise on the mirina coil? Does it help the endo?

Hi. I had mine fitted in Oct to help with heavy periods etc. It has certainly helped with making my periods lighter, but my endo pain is still here . But you may be different. X

I have the Minera coil, I had it fitted in January am still having a few problems with it as it takes a few months to settle but as it's stopped my periods am finding my endo flares aren't as painful as they were hope this helps you

Hi. I had mine in on 14th March and since then my periods have been closer together (20-21 days) and I've been spotting everyday inbetween. I have rectovaginal endo and the Mirena hasn't made any difference to the pain yet. My periods are perhaps a little bit lighter than they were though. I guess it's early days so will wait to see what happens. I recommend that you give it a go because it might work really well for you. If it doesn't then it can be removed easily whenever you want.
