I'm 23 years old and have always had very painful periods, awful back pain and very teary during that time. However, during the past year and a half I have been getting pain in my left hip, tiredness, painful wind and very painful bowl movements. After doing some research I came across endometriosis. I have not been to the doctors yet as I felt as though I might be jumping to conclusions and needed some support really as it's becoming awful the live with. I just wanted some advice really as I'm worried and confussed!

Hi darling, do you get these symptoms during your period or anytime of the month,

Ever way it sounds like it could be endometreosis, go to your Gp and ask to be referred to a gyne docs

Good luck

Hello, I always have very painful bowl movements but the rest of the symptoms happen a week before my period and then worsen during my period. Should I tell them I think might have it? I'm worried they'll think I'm being a hypoconriact but it's affecting me for the half of the month now! Thanks for your reply, it's nice to know that there is some support out there!

Yes tell them what you think it is, I'm afraid to say not many gps are good at diagnosing this deseas, and you will probly get sent home with a comment about periods being painful, but that really shouldn't be the case, look up a lady could Lindle and check out her posts about symtoms and endo, the Gp might decide to do other scans first, let her do them to rule other things out,

Let us no if you have any questions and how you get on
