Hi, I'm new here and this is my first post. I had a total abdominal hysterectomy in March 2012. I wax put on Kliofem HRT as I had endo remaining in my pelvic area and on my bowel. The HRT didn't suit me as I became so anxious I couldn't leave the house some days. I came off the HRT last summer and have felt fine until the last few weeks when I've been getting excruciating pain in my pelvic area. It's worst when I wake up and until I've had a bowel movement. doctor has given me amitriptyline which helps me sleep but pain is still awful first few hours each day. I'm being referred to gynae but unlikely to get appointment for 6-8 weeks.
Has anyone else experienced endo after full hyster? If so, how do you cope with the pain and what have doctors/consultants said to you about dealing with it?
