Kliofem

Until August 2022 I had been on HRT, Kliofem 2mg/ I mg , for more than 20 years. I was taken off it by my G.P. because of my age. I believe I have Pituitary Failure/ Central Hypothyroidism. This always follows the same pattern.

However, I recently saw my gynaecologist for an annual check-up, and she suggested two alternative approaches: - switching to continuous HRT to get bleed-free; she suggested Kliofem.

I have stopped taking the Kliofem again and mentioned this to the nurse, healthcare assistant who looked after me and she replied that if the pain went after stopping Kliofem it would tp prove that the Kliofem was the cause.

Has anyone taken these with thyroid medication and felt totally disfunctional.

I’ve been put on Kliofem, just wanted to know if any one else takes this medication and has had any side effects with them, and how long they lasted before settling down. Thanks x

Does anyone here take kliofem for their osteoporosis and how have you found it please

Hey, I got the injection on the 3rd of February and started kliofem hrt on the 4th.

I wax put on Kliofem HRT as I had endo remaining in my pelvic area and on my bowel. The HRT didn't suit me as I became so anxious I couldn't leave the house some days.

I have been on Prostap 3 injections for the last year or so, Kliofem to help with the side effects and was put onto an anti-depressant to help with the manic ups and downs of my hormones.

Then after the 2 months I was put onto to ad bac HRT first of all Kliofem which resulted in the pelvic pain returning so they reduced my dose and put me on Kliovance instead which is doing exactly the same thing in terms of the pelvic pain.

I've been on Kliofem since my radical surgery last year. Unfortunately I have been plagued with migraines and teenage skin. Otherwise,I feel fine, normal. I am going to see my GP about trying another HRT and would be keen to know other people's experiences and anything you'd recommend. Thanks
