I have been having a pretty rubbish time with my periods for quite a while now - lots of pain and heavy bleeding. I also have pain after my period until around mid-cycle. A recent ultrasound scan showed suspected endometriosis, fibroids at the top of my uterus and what looked like my ovaries stuck together. I was referred to a gynecologist and am on the waiting list for a laparoscopy. My husband and I are TTC and this came as a bit of a blow to us.
However, for the last few months I've found myself almost pain free during my periods (she says touching wood). Nothing that a couple of paracetamol doesn't solve, which is very unusual for me.
Has anyone else had this happen? I'm waiting for my next period to completely floor me!
