Pregnant after Laproscopy for Stage 4 endometriosis.

After long story and history, I am v v happy and blessed to say I am expecting.

Short background story:

- Suffered from endometriosis since puberty. No treatments except 3-4 painkiller injections every month.

- whole life in pain every month and on bed for 3-4 days with heavy bleeding,vomittings,nausea and diarrhea

-After marriage, Conceived immediately and have 4 years old daughter.

- After one years tried again for a child, took 6 months to conceive.

- Miscarried after 7 weeks.

- Diagnosed with 4cm Choclate cyst, Adhesions, Stage 4 endo, fibriods

- 2 diagnostics laproscopy over 2 years confirming stage 4 endo on bladder, bowels, fused uterus, twisted tubes and no hope for natural conception except IVF

- All doctors suggested IVF as the only option

- Decided to take decapeytyl injections for 6 months while waiting for final surgery

- During final surgery, cyst disappeared, Fibriod disappeared, Endo Shrunk, no endo on bowels and bladder

- Surgeon corrected tubes, removed adhesions, corrected uterus postion, removed scar tissue, did dye test and both tubes and ovaries functional.

- Took another decapeptyl injection for 1 month for periods to not come and things to heal inside ( August'14)

- Had Laproscopy, hysterscopy, adhesiolysis,dye test in Septemeber'14

- was asked to try for baby for 6 months after surgery to see if i am lucky else IVF is the only option

- Started trying for a baby after one month of surgery( started from october'14)

- Periods never came back after surgery due to injections ( November'14)

- Did home pregnany test yesterday (13th Nov'14)

- POSITIVE PREG TEST

- Confirmed pregancy from GP by Blood and Urine Test

- Not sure how far i am into pregnancy as periods didnt return post surgery and injections.

- Early preg scan next week. Fingers crossed.

Bottom line, Have faith, proper plan, good diet, and carry on as I have managed to get pregnant naturally even after stage 4 endo as all doctors gave hope i will ever conceive naturally. God can do miracle anytime.

Thank you all for wishes and replies. I have had 2 scans so far and by Grace of Almighty, all is going well with the pregnancy. I am into 10th week now and have seen my little bean heartbeat. Just filled my eyes with lots of tears. Its my magic Baby. However badly down with Flu, UTI, fever, cold, constant cough and no anti-biotic to treat. Hope it settles down soon as i am already half dead due to morning sickness and nausea. Waiting for Dating scan to know EDD. All the reports, tests have come up fine and all looks promising from consultant perspective.!!! Good luck and baby dust to all who are suffering infertility due to Endo and Cyst.

Congratulations! mine was a similar story and with the grace of God, i have two lovely children. Still lots of endo, and at times life is tough with pain and managing two kids, work and husband working long hours... but its worth it for those moments of mummy cuddles.

Drs put me on heparin for 36 wks as with may people with endo they also have a blood clotting impairment which i had. felt like a junkie injecting every day, but all good.

thank you. I was just diagnosed and discovered I have stage 4 endometriosis during a laparoscopy operation. Initially it was done to remove ovarian cysts and any other fibroids seen but instead I got this depressing news!!! I am scheduled to go get surgical treatment for the endometriosis and I was also told highly unlikely to conceive naturally.
