Hi, I have never posted anything like this on website like this before but I don't know anyone whose going through this so I thought this might help, anyways here goes.
So I was diagnosed with endo and a fibroid after a lap in April I started prostap straight away which had only slightly helped ( I mean slightly as I can now do 3hrs of work a day now instead of none) my doc decided to remove the endo next month but lately I have been getting a new pain in my upper abdo, it was that bad I was yet again hospitalised. This pain doesn't last long but it's quite frequent and eating makes it worse it also exaggerates my normal endo pain. My doc said he doesn't know what this new pain is but thinks there's something other than endo going on and is having a good look when he goes on in dec. They've put me on morphine which is taking the edge off but I'm really anxious about this new pain and what else is goin on, anyone any thoughts?? please!!!
(Sorry if I've gone on a bit)

I had a really similar thing after my zoladex. Turns out it was gallstones which they said was caused by a change in hormones. I too got pain after eating, especially after eating something high in fat. I started to notice it when I ate a pastry ( boo, no pleasures in life! Ha ha) . The pain was so bad I ended up in hospital a couple of times before it was diagnosed. It was the sort of pain that didn't go away no matter what I did ( standing up,sitting down etc). I ended up having key hole surgery to remove my gallbladder completely. Might be worth mentioning to your GP.
Hi , I'm seeing my gp this week so think I'll mention that as that's just what it's like no matter what position I get in nothing eases it, I haven't really noticed if it comes on when eating hight fatty stuff but will take note more. Thank you so much

Hi there, I sympathise completely as going through EXACTLY the same thing. I had 2 months on prostap after lap showed endo on right uterus and ureter. 8 days after starting injections I started with really bad heartburn and indigestion and pains around the liver area. Gynae doc stopped injections although he wasn't convinced pain was because of them. Gastro doc referred me for endoscopy and ultra sound. Endoscopy showed slight hiatus hernia and gastritis and have got ultra sound this coming Friday. I have found the only way I keep pain down is by starving myself but as already lost over a stone in weight I cant keep doing this. I am just praying that ultra sound shows up something as I have no life at the moment. I go to bed in fear of choking on my own bile as this is how it feels.
Thankyou for replying. Not that I want you to be suffering but Its good to know I'm not alone in this, I can relate to not wanting to eat as I don't want to experience the pain if it comes but I know I feel worse if I dont. I really hope you get sorted soon and thanks again for sharing with me.
If you want to email me your phone number, Anniointed1 I can call you and we can swop stories, its up to you, sometimes talking to someone can help. nicolajones63@ntlworld.com
