Ladies can you rupture or make a chocolate cyst leak during sex?

My hubby and I were intimate last night and today I've been experiencing severe pain around the area of my right ovary. (I have an endometrioma and the ovary is stuck to my uterus and bowel)

Absolutely yes - it can spring a leak or explode when you are doing nothing - but sitting or lying there watching telly and not doing anything but breathing.

So definitely with something as active as having sex can cause it to rupture. It might seal up again and refill, it could carry on painfully leaking until it gets surgically removed - too soon to say, but it doesn't sound like the full explosion - rather more that you could have twisted the cyst or it has sprung a leak. See how things go for a few days and do see your GP if you need stronger pain meds they can be very painful things.
