I feel really sorry for you all suffering. I had another lap in January and ever since my lower back is really sore it really hard to drive, sit etc: for a long period of time. I also have lower right hand side pain which is annoying, intercourse isn't pleasant, protein in my urine most of the time. I really thought after the operation I would have felt better but I have developed more pain. Does anyone know what it could be or would it be the re-growth of endo? Lower back pain is not good especially when your job role consist of a long drive and when sitting at a desk most of the day and going up and down stairs.
I really do sympathise with you ladies who suffer with endometriosis, the pain we suffer is not pleasant and it tends to rule or everyday life. Really hope you all get some pain relief soon, so you can all enjoy the summer sun

I had pain during sex and lower back pain due to endo on the uterosacral ligaments. It turned out my consultant didn't get it all out! I had surgery once again after having a second opinion from a BGSE accredited endo centre of excellence. The surgery was repeated and no problems since. Endo can reoccur but having surgery can cause adhesions which can cause things to stick together. My ovary became fused to my pelvic wall as a result of my first surgery. If your pain persists I would push for a second look surgery x
Thank you jdgirl30 for your info. I had to pay private for my second lap as nhs doctor said I was too young to have a second lap and that I would have to suffer the pain. I'm due back down to see her in August they normally say give medication time to work but my pain is getting worse especially lower back. How do I convince the doctor? I'm really happy for you that you got some pain relief, fingers crossed no more pain for you. Thanks again for your kind thoughts and info. X
Are you on suppressive meds? If so yet your pain is continuing then it is probably adhesions from the surgery rather than endo. I'm not a medic but this I was advised this by a consultant.
Yea I am on a progesterone only pill. It would be stage 3 I had it long the top of womb, and around each ovary etc. Pain killer are no good to the lower back pain and down the right side days I can hardly bend or walk. Thank you for our kind thoughts and advice.
If they removed it from your ovaries and didn't conduct ovarian suspension then they are likely to be stuck by adhesions. Ovaries like to be able to move. No suppressive meds will help. Talk to your dr about the pain and tell them that you are concerned that it is probably adhesions after having your ovaries operated on. If they do not offer a second look lap then opt for another doctor. Try to find someone under an endo centre of excellence as they have far more understanding. Giving you another lap will do you no harm but they are probably just trying to protect their resources! Good luck x
Thanks for the info. I will express my feelings and thoughts in aug wen im back down to her. So hateful to be still suffering plus extra pain espically wen I thought I got sorted last time around. Once again thanks for ur kind thoughts and advice. Xx
Oh and if you are able to self fund then there is a chap called Mr Trehan in London and Yorkshire who will have you sorted in no time! Just google him as he is very renowned in this field. He was my surgeon.
It was costly this time around once I get money saved again or can get help will frog seek additional help if I get no satisfaction from my current gyne in August. Thank you for everything. Hope you are able to enjoy the good weather over the next few months xx
