I don't usually get much pain but when my partner was deep inside I had an enormous amount of pain and it had to stop. Is this endo related?

Pain during deep intercourse?
yes it could be, might be due to adhesions in or outsideof the vagina and cervix, could be due to adhesions sticking the uterus as a funny angle to some other organs so the cervix is in the wrong place and takes a battering in deep penetration. If it hurts then stop hurting yourself. There are quite a few alternative ways of having an enjoyable pain fee sex life and intimacy .
Surgery doesn't always resolve this issue... so you need to be open to exploring ways round the problem that don't hurt.
I have the same problem my cervix is painful with intercourse I think it must be but linked to endo but I do also have a coil so unsure but I'm having it removed ( in theatre) as the strings got lost when I had my lap! X
I would say that if this is a new thing for you, definitely discuss it with your doctor just to check its nothing new going on but unfortunately, I think you'll find many people with Endo that have the same problem. I find sex quite painful, especially in certain positions and my specialist said that it was probably coming from the endo around my pouch of douglas so depending on where your endo is, it could be an effect from that.
This is one of the most painful things for me. Sex is virtually impossible and affects our relationship a lot. Luckily I have a very understanding partner!
I get 2 types of pain, one endo related (as confirmed by consultant) and other from being stitched after childbirth. So yes it's possible but any pain and/or bleeding during or after sex needs discussing with a dr x
Oh! I also found out at last scan my uterus is very tilted and when reading the information my consultant gave me that says pain during sex too. X
1/3rd of all ladies have a retroverted uterus, not all get sex pain from it because it should be able to flex back and forth, however with endo - causing adhesions the uterus in us endo ladies does tend to get stuck in the retroverted position with the super glue strength adhesions, this does indeed put the cervix directly in the firing line from penetration and if you also have heavy periods causing cervical erosion then it sure will hurt to have that battered.
here's a great illustration (and while the pic has no endo or cervicalerosion issues and is simply showing the retroverted position)

if you do have deep infiltrating endo in the POD and adhesions to add to the problem this situation can be a lot more painful inside than it would normally be. The POD is quite obvious in image one, and obliterated by the uterus in image 2, and that's without endo.
You could have endo nodules which have grown through into vagina. Deep sex hurts me. Coil impossible because of these nodules. Even if a tampon put in wrong it aggravates it. Sorry if TMI but check with your consultant.
