I am so fed up of this condition and it would be nice to chat to people locally who can relate to what I'm going through. Feel totally alone.

Thank you, may just take you up on this! Have been treated so far in Portsmouth, but nothing working for my chronic pain and a tad depressed about it to say the least! X

Hi, my story is slightly different in that I was only diagnosed when I had a hysterectomy last April. I had a huge fibroid that caused me no end of problems and it was in such an awkward place that the only cure was a hysterectomy. They found I had endometriosis as well during the surgery, it's all over my bowel and bladder, I was supposed to,keep my cervix but they removed it as that was covered as well. Nothing was done about the endometriosis during surgery as the consultant felt that my symptoms had been due to the fibroid. He was wrong! I'm glad I had the surgery because I had been bleeding almost continuously for about 18 months, however, I still have all the pain as I kept my ovaries, constipation and a host of other symptoms that I now know are due to endometriosis. I have really bad down times too when everything just gets too much, I also get really bad fatigue at times. It's nice to have this website where other ladies can relate to what we're going through xx
