It could be hormonal and Pill may help - but can also make spots worse, you won't know till you give it trial run. My sister had dreadful cne and the pill cleared her spots up.

I never had bad acne but certainly did hve pre-menstrual spot outbreaks on my face every month, and that has gone completely on mirena coil.

Sometimes the spot outbreaks are bacterial or an allergic reaction to lotions and potions, so there's no guarantee it will help, but it would be worth trying and a bonus if it does help while sorting out periods.

In my experience the cerzatte pill won't help with your bad skin conditions as the longer you take it your hormones will start to react against it which can either make it flare up more or keep the irritation under the skin for when you take a break from taking it.

Its nevertheless beneficial to remember that everyone is different & therefore you may well be quite lucky with it but as with cerazette & many other contraceptive pills they can stimulate our hormones & senses into believing we are with-child & at the end of every pack taken your menstrual cycle slowly breaks that down.

Hi I get spots on my face and back never suffered when I was younger but now I look awful. Going to see the doctor about it as it's getting to a point I'm embarrassed to oh out. Hope you can get sorted soon I've been told dermol is good can be bought in boots.

I have also had problems with spots. I get them on my face, chest and back.

My doctor gave me an antibiotic lotion which helped a lot.

There is a pill that is recommended for ladies who have spots. I think it's calked Dianette, but please ask your GP.

There is a condition caked poly cystic ovarian syndrome. One of the symptoms is acne/spots. I have PCOS, so my spots are due to that condition.

Good luck

Hi I have suffered with bad skin for a long time due to not being able to keep food in, and therefore no nutrition. However I have found that selenium has made a massive difference. All I use is one tablet every day of Asda's selenium & vitamins A,C &E. They are very cheap and make a fantastic difference.
