Along with all the other lovely symptoms creeping back in after a little bit of respite from this wonderful illness (lap and then two children kept it at bay for a few years) ... I am now getting severe headache/ migraines week before my period ... Do other people suffer from this too? If so what do you take?

Headaches week before period time ...
Yes me too. Before endo never had a migraine ever or that many headaches. Now the last 3 years I get them a lot. They seem to be linked to endo on bowel, which I have. Since I have been on this endo diet, I think around 8 weeks now I have had loads of them, just great. Thing is I don't know what to eat to replace 'normal food' , haven't got the balance right yet and am eating tonnes of crisps and chips, which I love anyway. X
Hi
Yes I get severe headaches at ovulation and in the week before my period, I'm really susceptible to headaches/migraines (have cluster headaches and chronic neuro condition where main symptom is horrid headaches but condition is also connected to hormones) so it's not surprising really, if I manage to avoid one type of headache I tend to get them from something else! However hormonal headaches in women is really really common, there's even a medically recognised definition for them. It's not specific to endo, but it's typically due to sensitivity to changing oestrogen levels so not surprising endo sufferers tend to get them x
