Is anyone on the birth control pill? When I first went on it, it eliminated the pain and shrunk the lesions. I thought I was in heaven. As I aged, the pain worsened and I had to have two laps to remove the lesions and help with the pain. I know what it's like to be curled up into a ball on a cold floor in the bathroom. I even passed out from the pain once. Now I'm on Seasonique and ibuprofen if I need it. Since I am now peri-menopausal, the endo is calming down and no longer presents any serious problems. However, I am not pleased about being on the Pill until I'm 50...which is what the doctors in Canada do. Also, since estrogen makes it far worse, do you have doctors in the UK that treat hormones? I am going to a Dr. that has dedicated his life to understanding them and treats women with bio-identicals.
He cured my friend's symptoms while she was being treated for breast cancer. His name is Dr. Pettle. I should think that an increase in Progesterone would make a difference. That's my theory. I am sorry you are in so much pain and instead of trying to find the source of the problem - like all docs, they treat the symptoms.
