Lap wound still bleeding?

Hi, I just wondered if I should be concerned that my umbilical wound is still sore and bleeding a week after my lap? It bled very badly after the surgery, then since the stitch was removed on Wednesday has been constantly oozing a little. Doesn't appear to be any infection though.

I would call the ward where you had lap and just check with nurses or see Gp jus tto be on safe side.How are you doing otherwise?

Thanks daffodil, I tried to call the ward but the number they gave me doesn't work. I'm going to the out of hours GP later as I think it's infected. I don't think it's closed properly as it bleeds more when I'm sitting or moving and I can feel a sore pulling sensation when I do move. I'm due back at work on Monday!
