is the pain bad after lap

i have my appointment to go for my lap 13/01/14 scared the pain is going to be worse, dont think i could cope with anymore pain!! just hope this works and i can get bk to normal this endo has taken over my life , having to take time of my work always tired sore heads heart burn tummy pains some days cant get out my bed surely they can sort this ....

Hi Lisawright.

The first day after the lap will probably suck, but after that the pain will go away fairly quickly. It really depends on how much and what they find. You will probably get really strong painkillers for the first day. For me the pain and the endo only went away for three months, but I'm a rare case. I know many people who had years of relief. Good luck and don't worry yourself too much.
