I have been prescribed tri-cycling by the doc and have consitantly been taking the pill for 12 weeks but I'm not sure if I had to take a break at week 9 or wait until I had a breakthrough bleed?

Tri-cycling means to take 3 pill packets back to back. Then you can have a 7 day break.x
I would take a break now, wait 7 days then after the end of every third packet take your 7 day break x
